My name is Prerna, I was born in Mumbai, raised and grew up in Africa and now I reside in London. Surrounding myself with art and nature has always been a part of me from childhood. Before taking the leap to make jewellery professionally, I was working in the education sector.

In 2012 I was introduced to the world of jewellery while I was interning as a Photographer. Only in recent times I found and brought back my passion.

​

If I asked my younger self one question... It would be "why didn't I follow and pursue my passion years back?"

Well I suppose as they say, it's never too late to reset.

​

I am a self taught jewellery designer and maker. As an artist with no formal training, blessed with artistic ability. The growth as an artist, to believe in myself, to practice and learn has been slow and fulfilling. Everything that I have learned is through my mother, books, experimenting but foremost life experiences.

​

Initially, I just considered anything creative to be a hobby. However, recently, as the frequency and the desire with which I worked with polymer clay increased, I love how versatile polymer clay is and find the process of working with clay to be therapeutic.

​

There is something very satisfying about watching an idea come to life from concept to completion.

​

I've been fortunate to do a considerable amount of travelling over the past decade. Design elements from around the world find their way into my everyday life, whether that be home decor, clothing or accessories.
